Tracy Krauss of Tumber Ridge, B.C. on writing faith-based romantic suspense novels

You’ve written more than 30 novels, books and plays. What keeps you writing?

I want to bring a legacy of joy to my work – for readers to be entertained by my work, but also to reflect on the joy of following Jesus.

How do you see the role of fiction in Christian life?

Fiction is an important vehicle for presenting the gospel, encouraging people and helping them find meaning that they may not find in a sermon. It’s another way to minister to people.

Can you share some reader responses to your faith-based romantic suspense novels?

Here are some quotes from readers (from Amazon). This novel "showed the consequences of bad choices, but also showed the grace of God" (My Mother the Man-Eater). "Just when I thought I had the story figured out, Krauss hurled me in a different direction" (Tempest Tossed). "Krauss smashes the stereotypes" (Keeping Up With the Neighbours).

Tracy Krauss of Tumber Ridge, B.C., writes what she calls "fiction on the edge – without crossing the line" as well as highschool plays and more. She has lived in several remote northern communities and holds ministerial credentials with The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (TracyKrauss.com).
